Pantanal wetlands - South - Fazenda Aguapé 4 days

The Aguapé Farm, with its easy access throughout the year, is located 160 km from Campo Grande, the capital of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul and 60 km from Aquidauana, which is known as the gateway to the Pantanal. Owned by the same family over the last 150 years, activities were diversified eleven years ago, with the continuation of cattle ranching, ecotourism and fishing, support of conservation projects such as the Escola Pantaneira
(schools), Cavalo Pantaneiro (regional breed of horses) and Projeto Arara Azul (Hyacinth Macaw Project). (N.B.: Pantaneiro refers to inhabitants, creatures or anything relative to the Pantanal region).

Program Summary
Day 1 Campo Grande - Pantanal
Arrival and transfer from Campo Grande airport to Aguapé pousada. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight .
Day 2 Pantanal
Breakafast. Horseback riding tour, which is the most common transportation used by local inhabitants, those horses can overcome the lowlands and lake outlets. Lunch at the Pousada. Free afternoon. Dinner, nocturnal animal spotting and overnight.
Day 3 Pantanal
Breakfast. Trails strolls across camps, which is a good way to watch the Pantanal flora and  its wildlife. Lunch at the pousada. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight
Day 4 Pantanal - Campo Grande
Breakfast . Morning tour of  photograph safari  in order to appreciate the local fauna and flora. Lunch at the pousada. Afternoon departure to Campo Grande airport.
