Rio Mutum Pantanal Lodge 4 days / 3 nights

The Rio Mutum Pousada has been constructed according to international standards taking into account in particular the demands of modern eco-tourism and the interests of sport fishing. It is situated between the lakes Sia Mariana and Chacorore within one of the most beautiful regions of the Panatanal of Mato Grosso.

Day 1 : Cuiaba/Pantanal / Mutum Lodge
Reception and guide assistance upon your arrival at Cuiaba Airport; Transfer to Rio Mutum Pousada, passing through the small village of Mimoso, where Candido Rondon was born. Arrival at the Pousada by dinner time (reception with welcome drink). After dinner, the program will be presented.

Day 2 : Pantanal - Mutum Lodge
After breakfast:  ecological hiking tour through the wilderness of the Pantanal, visiting some settlements of the native “caboclos” with their palm thatched huts. People’s hospitality will provide you with a lot of impressions of their lives together with a very stimulating drink of genuine “guarana”.

Lunch at the lodge and after lunch: Horse trekking through typical Pantanal landscapes. Reception at a local farm, which is situated at the lake Sia Mariana, Wait for the sunset there. Return from there by boat.

Day 3 : Pantanal - Mutum Lodge
After breakfast, there is a boat ride until a “corixo”, where a walking trail begins and goes to the Chacororé bay with its more than 15km (9mi) of extension. Lunch is at the lodge, and in the afternoon a ride by car or boat will take you to the Mutum River for a photographic safari of an almost unexplored area of the river, with boat ride to observe all the Pantanal life. 

Day 4 : Pantanal / Cuiaba
After breakfast return to Cuiaba Airport.

Included:	Overnights, regular transfers, full board meal, and activities similar to the above description and permanent assistance of a bilingual guide.
Not Included:	Airfares; beverages; medical expenses and hospitalization; any type of insurance.
Recommended Gear:	It is recommended to bring common medications as well as antihistamines; T-shirts, long sleeved shirt, sneakers or hiking boots, jeans or track suit, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, binoculars, flashlight, camera and film. Sweatshirt or sweater recommended from June to September.
