The Jungle Lodge
Three hours from Manaus by boat, and near the largest complex of river islands - Anavilhanas Archipelago - is the Acajatuba Jungle Lodge, a place to go for an ecological adventure. The Lodge is for those who want to feel at one with nature, in a protected environment.
As a rustic ecological hotel, the lodge structure is built with rustic wood, covered with palm-tree leaves and its different modules are elevated 1 meter from the ground, to guarantee safe to the guest. A 30 meter-high observation tower is elevated for a beautiful view of the River and the treetops.
The Lodge features a total of 20 cabins (40 apartments), In an optimized comfort to appreciate the real sense of adventure in the amazon forest. The lighting of the apartments is powered by low-intensity lamps, when the footbridges, common area, and permanent bar are illuminated with petrol lamps. The meals and breakfasts are served in a panoramic restaurant facing the River.

Program Summary

Day 1 Manaus - Acajatuba Lodge
At 13:30, pick-up at the airport and transfer to Tropical Manaus Hotel Pier. Transfer to Acajatuba Lodge located on the banks of the Acajatuba River, a tributary of the Rio Negro River, approximately 32 miles from Manaus. Transfer to the lodge is mainly through regional boats. It takes apporximately 3 hours by boat. Upon arrival, welcome drink and accommodation. Dinner and night tour in small boats, spotting caimans with flashlight, along the riverbank.

Day 2 Acajatuba Lodge
Early in the morning , a sunrise tour. After breakfast, a guided walking trek in the Amazon forest and a visit to the local people house (native). After lunch, Piranha fishing trip. Return to the Lodge observing sunset and "botos" (fresh water dolphin). Dinner.
Overnight: Acajatuba Lodge

 Day 3 Acajatuba Lodge
Breakfast followed by visit to a fluvial beach, on the calm waters of Negro river, where you will spend the morning. Lunch at the lodge, relax and departure for a visit to a native village. Return to the Lodge, observing sunset and "botos ". Dinner at the Lodge.
Overnight: Acajatuba Lodge

Day 4 Acajatuba Lodge - Manaus
After breakfast, visit to "SAMAUMEIRA", the biggest tree of the Amazon forest, which was used as a way of communication by the natives. Return to the Lodge. Lunch and departure to Manaus arriving at 5:30 PM.
